I currently live in a small, high-tech and defense oriented, metropolis-area. For the past two decades, off-and-on, I taught computer science as a professor at two local universities. Finally, I returned to the private sector and am doing “computer stuff” for money.
My formative years were spent in Jackson, Mississippi and New Orleans, LA. Even though I no longer live in NOLA, you can probably tell how much I love and miss that city every day.
