This whole “working for da man” business seems to sap all my ability to write completely out of my agile brain. There are many things I would love to sink my teeth into, but the ability to put together a coherent paragraph is evading me this morning. So, you get bullets of crap that is on my mind this morning.
- The weather here right now is so exceedingly gorgeous that I’ve actually developed anxiety over the possibility of wasting it. I wanted to go out hiking today, but we have an open house to attend right smack dab in the middle of the afternoon. I am still hoping to hit the new greenway afterward, if possible.
- Boise State terrifyingly handled the juggernaut that is Louisiana Tech. Oh, wait. Ha ha ha. They DIDN’T. Boise State managed to eke out a win against a mediocre team in Louisiana that isn’t named LSU. Honestly, when are the sports pundits’ and their stupid BCS computer going to wake up to reality here?
- Oh, and speaking of reality, how about those Iowa Hawkeyes? Yeah, they were top 5 material, all right.
- Okay, I admit it. I am a football conference snob. I really do believe the SEC is the best conference in the nation, and if the SEC’s top handful of teams didn’t have to beat each other up all year, one of them would be the national champion 3 out of every 4 years. Oh wait, they do that anyway.
- My son is turning 14 this week. His idea of a great party is for me to pick up the tab, but otherwise no interaction between Mom and his friends will be allowed. They will be bowling, I will be nursing my pride at the pool table.
- Why do necessary appointments and mandatory meetings always fall on the same day?
- I need some new Saints’ sweatshirts. Hint Hint – birthday, Christmas….

I, too, am having trouble putting coherent sentences together; I’ve got a bunch of ideas that I just don’t have the time (or energy) to put sufficient effort into…

Lack of coherency in these parts has more to do with the overwhelming pressure from my sinus cavities than anything else.
