We had about a half a day of wet, slushy, joy inducing snow on Thursday. Too bad it melted within about an hour of the kids’ getting home from school after being let out early.
Deuce absolutely loves the snow.
First, he contemplates it:
Next, he tastes it:
Then, he confirms that it is real and has permission to go play:
Finally, he’s set free:
And leaves happy little tracks in his wake, after a high-speed, demon corgi tear around the deck. He was going so fast, I thought he was going to plow into the side of the house.
Have a nice weekend, y’all. The sun is coming out for us for the first time in 80 weeks, it seems.

Deuce needs to come play with Fiona; maybe he can convince her that the snow won’t make her melt.

As much as I dislike snow, I’m a little sad that my dog has never experienced the cold, wet stuff. Seems as if it should be on some sort of canine bucket list.

So jealous y’all have had snow and we haven’t. It’s just not right. But happy for Deuce.

Alethea and Tara, I wish I could get my doggie to meet your doggies, because then I could see YOU.
Katrina, don’t you live somewhere much snowier than here?
